For students in Visakhapatnam, getting between hostel, campus, coaching classes and the beach adds up fast. A monthly bike rental gives you your own scooter or motorcycle without buying one, paying for insurance or worrying about repairs. Here's what it costs, what's included and how to choose.
What a monthly rental costs
Monthly plans start at ₹7,998 per month for the Honda Activa 5G, Honda Dio, Hero Pleasure, Honda Aviator, Hero HF Deluxe, Hero Glamour. That works out to roughly ₹267 a day, far below daily rates. Some other examples:
- Honda Activa 6G: ₹8,998 per month
- Bajaj Pulsar: ₹10,998 per month

What's included
- Servicing and maintenance for the rental period, so a breakdown isn't your repair bill
- A free ISI-certified helmet
- Free delivery within 10 km of our store, which covers most Vizag campuses and hostels
- A ₹1,000 refundable deposit, returned when the bike comes back in the same condition
Fuel isn't included; you fill up as you ride.
Documents you'll need
- A valid two-wheeler driving licence. A learner's licence isn't enough to ride on your own.
- One government photo ID, such as Aadhaar
- For longer rentals we may also ask for local address proof, for example a hostel or rental agreement
- You must be at least 18 years old

Scooter or motorcycle?
- Mostly campus and city: a scooter like the Honda Activa or Dio. Easy in traffic, easy to park, under-seat storage for a bag.
- Long daily commute or weekend trips: a Hero Glamour or Bajaj Pulsar is more comfortable on the highway and in the hills.
- Splitting with a roommate? Whoever rides should carry their own valid licence.
Tips for a smooth month
- Book a few days ahead at the start of a semester, when demand is highest.
- Check the bike at handover and note any existing scratches together with us.
- Keep an eye on your kilometres if you plan long weekend rides.
- Always wear the helmet and follow traffic rules. Challans issued during your rental are your responsibility.
